About Loadwise
Loadwise is a free browser-based tool for estimating how pallets and crates fit into containers and common U.S. trucks. It helps you compare layouts before arranging a shipment.
Who is it for?
Warehouse teams, freight planners and shippers can enter packaged dimensions, quantities and weights, then review a 3D loading layout. Optional pallet names and PO numbers help identify cargo in the plan.
What can you do?
- Choose container or truck presets and use independent dimension and weight units.
- Import a packing list, specify stacking rules and review leftover cargo.
- Save a plan locally and print or export planning results.
Understand the result
A calculated fit is an estimate based on your inputs and the selected equipment preset. Confirm the assigned equipment, handling access, cargo strength and securing requirements before loading. Axle estimates depend on assumed vehicle weights and geometry.
